Jason MacBride

 Jason MacBride is a seasoned prosecutor and lifelong public servant based in Victor, New York. With over two decades of experience in criminal law, MacBride has built a reputation for integrity, diligence, and a deep commitment to justice. He served as First Assistant District Attorney in Ontario County for more than 10 years, where he led prosecutions in some of the county’s most serious cases—including homicides, sexual assaults, child abuse, and domestic violence.

Currently, MacBride works as an Assistant County Attorney, focusing on juvenile justice and child protection cases. His career began in the Monroe County DA’s Office, where he spent eight years prosecuting violent crimes and advocating for victims.

In 2025, MacBride won the Republican Primary for Ontario County District Attorney, campaigning on a platform of restoring public trust, strengthening partnerships with law enforcement, and ensuring that victims are treated with dignity and respect. His candidacy emerged in response to concerns about leadership and accountability in the DA’s office, and he has pledged to lead with professionalism, fairness, and transparency.

MacBride holds degrees from the University of Rochester and the University at Buffalo School of Law, including an LLM in criminal law. He is known for his meticulous case preparation, collaborative leadership style, and unwavering dedication to protecting families and communities across Ontario County.
