About Bob
- Elected as Mayor in 2019, Bob has overseen a time of major transition in the city.
- Under his leadership, the city successfully navigated COVID with efforts like “Central on Main,” which kept our restaurants afloat and remains a lively attraction. Our downtown storefronts continue to be at near-full occupancy, with many new and exciting local businesses setting up shop to delight both residents and visitors.
- Mayor Bob has helped the city secure a number of grants, including the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). He helped organize a group of mayors in the Finger Lakes region to collectively advocate for the needs of our area in Albany.
- In a new term, Bob will continue to prioritize public safety, pursue grants to shore up our infrastructure, and focus on our neighborhoods.
